In 2012, a group of local entrepreneurs united by a common vision decided to pool their territory, their products and their expertise. Together, they founded a producers’ cooperative built around an experiential tourism concept rooted in local culture and rural life.

The ambition: to create collective wealth through entrepreneurial cooperation, foster local eco-development and cultivate a true spirit of good neighbourly relations.

After several years of activity, the cooperative officially became the Le Voisinage Solidarity Cooperative in 2025. Over time, new products and services from its members will continue to enrich the offering.

In partnership with Baluchon Éco-villégiature, our members offer unique and memorable experiences throughout the seasons. La Meute d’Akash immerses you in the captivating world of dog sledding, Thomas Lessard guides you along the trails by mountain bike or fat bike, while Équitation sur mesure inc. invites you to explore the estate on horseback, in a private carriage or a horse-drawn sleigh — and these are just a few of the experiences our members have to offer!

Several local food producers are active on the Baluchon’s lands. By providing a welcoming meeting place, Baluchon gives these entrepreneurs exceptional visibility among its 60,000 annual visitors.

Committed to celebrating their passion and expertise, the Le Voisinage Cooperative connects its members directly with their customers — helping them build their reputation, sell their products and grow their businesses.

This is the spirit behind La Fabrique du terroir: an agritourism hub where visitors can taste local products on-site, purchase them in bulk and engage directly with the producers.
