If something unexpected occurs and you need to cancel your stay, consult our cancellation policy to learn how we proceed in the event of a cancellation.

Booking Policy

SECURITY DEPOSIT

Rooms:
- A deposit of $100 per night, per room will be charged to the credit card at the time of booking. Non-refundable, non-exchangeable, and non-transferable.
- On the day of arrival, we will pre-authorize the package amount minus the booking deposit, including an additional $100 per night as a security deposit.
Christmas Magic and New Year’s Packages:
- A deposit of 50% of the total amount will be charged at the time of booking.
Chalets:
- A deposit of 50% of the total amount will be charged at the time of booking. Non-refundable, non-exchangeable, and non-transferable.
- On the day of arrival, full payment of the remaining balance will be taken, along with a pre-authorization of an additional $100 per night as a security deposit.
Gift Certificates and Gift Cards:
- On the day of your arrival, please present your gift certificate or gift card. A pre-authorization of $100 per night will be applied to the credit card as a security deposit.

ROOMS

Your room is guaranteed from 4:00 PM. On the day of departure, the room must be vacated by noon.

CHALETS AND LOFTS

Your unit is guaranteed from 5:00 PM. On the day of departure, the unit must be vacated by 11:00 AM.

STAY FEES

A fee of $29 per night will be applied to all reservations with accommodation. More details are available here.
This fee applies per room per night.
- For chalet or loft accommodations, the fee applies to the entire unit.
- These fees reflect our commitment to surprising and inspiring our guests with an authentic resort experience.

TREATMENT AND ACTIVITY TIMES

Please note that Le Baluchon reserves the right to modify booking times by plus or minus 15 minutes.

STAYING WITH CHILDREN

For reservations with children aged 0 to 4 years, breakfast and accommodation fees are included free of charge for any child accompanied by a parent whose package includes breakfast. Please note that other meal services are à la carte and payable on-site.
Children aged 5 to 12 years can benefit from a children’s package, which includes accommodation, a three-course children’s table d’hôte dinner, breakfast, meal service charges, and a free outdoor activities passport with equipment. For more details, please contact our advisors at 1-800-789-5968.

BOOKING GUIDELINES FOR ALL GUESTS

Smoking is strictly prohibited in your room or in our pavilions: a $150 fee (plus taxes) will automatically be charged for any violation of this rule.
You are responsible for the furniture, facilities, and all items made available to you during your stay: any breakage or damage will be automatically charged to you.
Le Baluchon is not responsible for lost, forgotten, or stolen items.
Pets are not allowed in our rooms, chalets, lofts, or any of our pavilions. Le Baluchon reserves the right to charge a $150 (plus taxes) cleaning fee for any violation of this rule.
Animals are not allowed on the Le Baluchon Eco-Resort grounds or in its establishments. Service dogs are accepted, but if not certified by MIRA, the owner must provide documents certifying that it is a recognized service dog.
For safety and hygiene reasons, kitchen accessories and appliances are not allowed in the rooms (e.g., fondue or raclette machines).

CHALET AND LOFT BOOKING CONDITIONS
The tenant and their guests must not disturb, annoy, endanger, or cause nuisance to the neighborhood, nor use the premises for immoral or illegal activities.
It is forbidden to walk on private neighboring properties and to make noise that could disturb neighbors after 9:00 PM. Any complaints from neighbors will result in the immediate forfeiture of the security deposit.
During their stay, the tenant is responsible for the property and its contents and must leave it in exemplary cleanliness. Upon departure, all objects must be in their original condition and location. Any premature wear, breakage, or damage will be charged by Le Baluchon.
The tenant must report any incident, minor damage, breakage, or anomaly before departure.
Cleaning and maintenance services are carried out between rentals. Upon departure, dishes must be cleaned and put away, and the premises must be left clean. A $95 fee (plus taxes) will be charged for any violation of this rule.
Check-out time is 11:00 AM for all tenants.
Fireworks and confetti are strictly prohibited.
All chalets are classified as non-smoking. A $150 fee (plus taxes) will be charged for any violation of this rule.
No pets are allowed, except certified service dogs with documentation.
The number of occupants stated in the contract must be respected. Any additional guests must be reported to Le Baluchon.
Weapons, including paintball guns and air rifles, are strictly prohibited.
The minimum age for groups of young adults is 25 years and older.
Parties are prohibited. Any music or noise that can be heard beyond the property boundaries is prohibited. Le Baluchon promotes respect for the neighborhood.
Le Baluchon provides firewood for tenants. Additional wood is available for a fee.
Cutting trees and branches or using deadwood is strictly prohibited.
Respect for flora and fauna is required. Le Baluchon follows the “Leave No Trace” principle.
Le Baluchon is not responsible for power outages, internet failures, or television/telephone disruptions. No compensation or refunds will be issued for late arrivals, early departures, or customer errors.
The security deposit will be returned after the chalet has been inspected upon departure, provided the unit is left in its original condition with no damage and no complaints from neighbors.
Any tenant violating these terms will be immediately evicted without refund and will be responsible for any damages.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Please notify us more than 48 hours before your arrival to modify or reschedule your booking. If this deadline is met, you can reschedule and retain your deposit for a future stay. Non-refundable, non-exchangeable, and non-transferable.
For cancellations made within 48 hours of arrival or no-shows, 100% of the first night’s fees, as well as full fees for any treatments or activities, will be charged.

GROUP CELEBRATION PACKAGE & WEDDING PACKAGE

Reservation Policy:
When booking, a non-refundable deposit of $100 per night will be charged to your credit card. This amount is non-exchangeable and non-transferable. If cancellation occurs within 7 days before arrival, 100% of the stay’s fees will be charged.

Christmas Magic & New Year’s Package:

Please notify us at least 14 days before your arrival to modify or postpone your reservation. By respecting this deadline, you can reschedule your stay and keep your deposit for a future visit.

Non-refundable, non-exchangeable, and non-transferable.
If canceled between 14 days and 48 hours before arrival, 50% of the total reservation amount will be retained.
If canceled less than 48 hours before arrival or in case of a no-show, the full stay fees will be retained.

ONLINE RESERVATIONS

A deposit of $100 per night will be charged to the credit card on file when our team receives the reservation.
A deposit of 50% of the total stay value will be charged for chalet reservations.
Please notify us at least 48 hours before your arrival to modify or postpone your reservation. By respecting this deadline, you can reschedule your stay and keep your deposit for a future visit.
If canceled less than 48 hours before arrival or in case of a no-show, 100% of the first night’s fee and the full cost of any additional services or activities will be charged.
Upon arrival at the accommodation, an additional $100 per night security deposit will be required.

TREATMENTS & ACTIVITIES

If cancellation occurs less than 48 hours before your arrival or in case of a no-show, 100% of the fees for treatments or additional activities will be charged.
