Cross-country skiing

Our 40 kilometers of groomed trails through forests and along the riverside are ideal for cross-country skiing and ski-skating. Le Baluchon is one of the only outdoor sites in Mauricie to offer a snow groomer that conditions the snow to ensure exceptional quality, a technology used during the Winter Olympics.

Rates and informations

Guests with accomodation

  • Trail access and use of necessary equipments are included in all Baluchon packages.

Outside customers

This activity is included with access to our trails for the day :

  • Adults : $23
  • Children (5-12 years old) : $9
  • Family rate (2 adults + 2 children) : $55

What to wear ?

  • Warm clothing and ski goggles
  • Cover your face with a hood or neck-warmer
  • Gloves or warm mittens

 

In addition, we encourage you to ;

  • Bring a reusable water bottle so you can rehydrate properly at the end of the activity

Conditions of use

  • Equipment rental is included for overnight guests. Ski rental with skins is available on-site for $20/day, plus taxes.
  • For your safety, in case of lightning storms, extreme winds, and other weather-related risks, equipment loans will not be available.
  • Picnicking is not allowed on the premises or on the trails.
  • Dogs are not allowed on the premises, except for certified service dogs.
  • Taxes are extra.
