Neighboring the popular Canoer’s Chalet, The Paddler offers the same warm spirit, modern comfort, and connection to nature—but in a compact format ideal for small groups.
This panoramic chalet, set on the banks of the rivière du Loup and on the fringes of Le Baluchon Eco-Resort, looks out over a peaceful natural setting. Its open-concept living room featuring a gas fireplace, and large bay windows, along with the screened veranda and outdoor wood-burning fireplace create the perfect atmosphere to relax and soak in the surroundings.
The two enclosed bedrooms are spacious and filled with natural light, each with its own en suite bathroom. Designed with sustainability in mind, The Paddler showcases local materials, renewable resources, and locally crafted furnishings.

Le Baluchon’s site is composed of 1000 acres of nature, including 200 acres of agricultural land. It also has 35 km of forest trails for hiking, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, dog-sledding and mountain biking. In the heart of this site is a meadow and a pasture where horses graze freely and where we find a fieldstone windmill and a wooden chapel.
